Blue Ridge Speech and Hearing Center’s Speech Pathology department provides a wide variety of services to adults and children. Our qualified staff is highly trained and specialized to provide therapy across a full range of disorders. We value a collaborative and friendly workplace, and will work together with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs.

Pediatric services target a diverse set of speech and language disorders. Thorough evaluations are completed to help ensure that each child’s needs are identified and that appropriate goals are established. Treatment sessions consist of one-on-one time with a therapist in a relaxed and playful atmosphere. Furthermore, we place a strong emphasis on parental education to ensure that successes in the clinic can be reinforced in the home environment.

Blue Ridge provides a variety of services for adults as well. Our highly trained staff is available to conduct complete evaluations to efficiently identify problem areas. We offer extensive treatment options in the areas of swallowing and communication. Treatment services are offered to help provide compensatory strategies and rehabilitation to improve quality in all areas of life. Patient and caretaker education is an integral part of adult therapy in order to ensure maximum carryover of treatment benefits into daily living.
