Audiology

Blue Ridge Speech and Hearing Center’s Audiology department offer an array of services to help protect hearing, diagnose hearing loss, and assist in all hearing healthcare. Hearing Aids

Our clinic works with several hearing aid manufacturers to provide our patients with a variety of options including different levels of technology, sizes, and costs. Our hearing aid pricing is highly competitive and our service is incomparable. Our audiologists strive to fit the best product for your lifestyle and needs. Our audiologists work on a non-commissioned basis, so that your hearing health care is our primary concern. We offer a standard 30-day trial period on all purchased hearing aids and have several sets of demo hearing aids that we can offer for free trials prior to purchasing a hearing aid.

Fast ForWord Therapy Program

Fast ForWord is a computer based therapy program that "retrains" the brain to improve language skills. Fast ForWord is based on the theory that children with language disorders and auditory processing disorders are incapable of perceiving auditory information at a normal rate. Occupational Therapy

Blue Ridge Speech and Hearing Center’s Occupational Therapy department provides a variety of pediatric services for children ages birth to twenty-one. We also offer a variety of expansive occupational therapy evaluations. The evaluation will provide you with a thorough report and it will enable you to identify your child’s area of need in relation to sensory motor, fine motor, and gross motor skills.
